Also \u201ctax transparent\u201d legal forms are available in Cura\u00e7ao.<\/p>\n<p>A Cura\u00e7ao fund license is not required when the investment fund is only offered to \u201cprofessional parties\u201d. In this category any investor must at least make a minimum initial subscription of US$ 100,000 and the investment institution needs to apply for an exemption (through an online portal) to the Cura\u00e7ao supervisor, the Central Bank of Cura\u00e7ao and Sint Maarten.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Connection with Europe<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>It is possible to combine the flexibility and tax efficiency of a Cura\u00e7ao investment fund with the possibility of marketing in the Netherlands under the EU AIFMD registration regime, provided a Netherlands fund manager is appointed which has registered with the Netherlands supervisor Authority for the Financial Markets.
